KRISHNA PREMA Award Function organised by Nrithyanikethana Kodavoor (R)

"Krishna Prema" award in the name of late Krishnamurthy Rao, founder of Nrithyanikethana kodavoor, has been given to four veteran artists from different fields in the presence of Shanthala Awardee Vidwan SRI Ullal Mohan Kumar, Vidwan Kamalaksha Achar- President of Karavali Nrityakala Parishat , Vidwan Chandrashekar Navada, Secretory of Karavali NrityaKala Parishat and Vidushi Pratibha M samaga- a well known dance critic. Vidwan Raghavendra Rao- a seniormost flute artist, Vidwan Narayan Bhat- a seniormost Bharatanatyam Artist, Vidwan Srinivasa Bhat , Nittur- a senior most vocalist and Sri Prakash Kunjibettu a make-up expert are given a cash award for their significant contributions to the field of art. This was beautifully organised by Nrityhyanikethana kodavoor headed by Vidwan Sudhir Rao Kodavoor and Vidushi Manasi Sudhir. The funtion was followed by "Nrithya Bhagini", 6 pair of sisters presented self- choreographed dances.
