Effective waste management is a core focus for clean energy developers, and the Best Practice Charter reports for 2025 highlight the number of projects now embedding circular economy principles into procurement and construction processes 🌱 Beon Energy Solutions is a trusted industry partner, delivering large-scale energy and infrastructure projects across Australia and New Zealand. They are partnering with solar panel recycling business, PV Industries, to recycle damaged solar panels, processing them to produce materials that can be reused in manufacturing. “It’s really exciting to be part of the revolution in solar panel recycling,” said Beon’s Manager of Stakeholder, Compliance and Sustainability, Kirsten Lee. ♻️ In July, Beon delivered 500 damaged panels to PV Industries as part of a research and development program that has seen them process more than 5,000 panels since 2022, helping the industry improve waste management and reduce lifecycle environmental impacts. The Clean Energy Council’s Best Practice Charter is a voluntary set of commitments upheld by more than 50 renewable energy developers, who report annually on how they’re engaging with communities, mitigating impacts and strengthening environmental practices, including responsible waste management, recycling and long-term decommissioning planning. 👉 Explore the 2025 Best Practice Charter reports: https://cleanenergycouncil.org.au/adv... 👉 Learn more from our fact sheet on recycling renewable energy technologies: https://cleanenergycouncil.org.au/for... #BPC2025 #BestPracticeCharter #cleanenergyworksforAus
