Black Brothers - Mars Papua 'Yamewero' 'Yamewero' (Biak-Papua languages) *Yamewero! Yamewero yabe women kakero, imbo yankeyambayo, yanake'yanambayo. Yamarisen yores ro manggun aya.! *(I don't want! I don't want to be a slave anymore, full or hungry, have nothing. All I want to be free.!) ❤ July 28, 1965, The TNI (Indonesian National Army) Headquarters in Arfai, Manokwari, was dismantled by the Free Papua Movement (OPM) 50 years ago under the Command of Ferry Awom, a former PVK Unit headquartered in MANOKWARI. a member of the Free Papua Movement, JOHN CALVIN JAMBUANI, former Commander of Operation-1965 in the Kebar area. The first shot in Operation-1965 was carried out by John C. Jambuani on July 26, 1965 (two days before the Arfai Headquarters was dismantled) with a total of 45 TNI members as victims, seizing 32 weapons and ammunition. (Data: 1985-Interview/JCJbuane/Blackwara Camp/Vanimo-CPR). John Calvin Jambuani, originally from the hinterland of Manokwari (Kebar) was a former Dutch Politie who helped guard the border between Sorong/Fakfak and the Arafura Sea to block Indonesian infiltrators who at that time the Dutch called them (Infiltrators/Indonesia as "Soekarno's dogs"). Jambuani was one of the leaders of the 1965 Operations Command (Kassuari Battalion). Former Commander of the 17th/Cenderawasih Military Command, Brigadier General Sarwo Eddie called them the "Five Naughty Children" (Awom, Prawar, Wanma, Rumbiak and Jambuani). In the subsequent struggle of the Papuan Nation, July 28 was known as Physical War Day/Army Day. From this historical story, the Mambesak Group made it into a song and the Black Brothers popularized it. @SammyRumboryas #marspapua #blackbrothers #westpapua #songofliberation #melanesianroots #morningstarflag #strugglesong #cryforfreedom
