BCLP Vlog: Fat Grafting to the Upper Lip

Hello my Warriors. In this video, I vlog what it was like getting a fat graft done to my upper lip. For those of you that may not know, a fat graft is when fat is transferred from one area of the body to another. For a long time, I have loved my lips but, I have always felt some sort of sadness around the asymmetry regarding the volume of my upper lip compared to that of my lower lip. In my video, BCLP: Lip Injections, I explained that I have not had my lips touched because the only procedures offered to me were lip fillers and a very invasive surgery that I was not interested in doing. As the years went on, the asymmetry really began to bother me and yet, I did nothing about it. Then, one day, I saw another clefty post a photo from a fat graft done to her lips. Because I have never heard of the concept, I messaged the individual and they were able to give me a little bit more of information surrounding the procedure. I immediately made an appointment to NYU to inquire about possibly getting a fat graft done to my upper lip. After that, it was set and I had my fat graft procedure done on June 22, 2018. This video is a very rough, raw and honest vlog about my experience, how I felt and how the procedure affected me during the first 7 days. It has now been a full 2 months since the procedure so expect a more thorough video to come soon. For now, you can at least see how the procedure was for me in case you are thinking of trying it for yourself. BUT PLEASE REMEMBER: Every single person heals differently and will have different results. This was MY experience and it does NOT mean that it will be your own as well. As you already know, I do this so that others who are somewhat going through, or have gone through, similar experiences know that they are not alone.
