Civilization 7 hit the FACTORY RESET BUTTON with this NEW UPDATE!

Civilization 7 released its latest patch update (1.2.5) today and it's an unexpectedly significant patch update. The new map generation method and two new default map types arrive in the game, alongside a settlement UI overhaul that makes placing buildings and rural improvements much easier. The surprise balance pass gives a factory reset to the meta game - building costs now scale properly based off existing buildings and your city count. Stackable, percentage-based bonuses have been largely removed from areas like leader attributes and the civics tree too. Several percentage-based resources like gold and silver were nerfed (sadly), and late game technologies (and most victory conditions) have been tweaked. Plus civ and leader rebalancing, AI improvements, and honestly so much more. Finally, I'll share my love of the new Right to Rule DLC leader (Lakshmibai) and the two new civilizations in civ 7!
