In this video I'll show you how I added an off-grid power source to the micro camper by using a Black+Decker PPRH5B Portable Power Station Jump box with a built in 500W inverter. There are lots of choices available for jump boxes. I already had this one so that's what I'm starting with. Check out these choices on Amazon: https://amzn.to/36rlMcf WARNING: One of my subscribers reminded me to point out that It's important to connect this correctly to avoid a dangerous situation. Once you click the Jump box inverter button on, that jump box actually becomes a generator sending 110/120 volt power out. DANGER... Make absolute certain that you "first" plug the male end of the output cord into the camper prior to plugging the other end into the jump box. WARNING: If you first plug into the jump box that would make the exposed male end of the output cord "HOT" which if touched WOULD CAUSE a serious shock and could cause ELECTROCUTION. It's the same with a generator. Take time to remember safety first. Use some clear packing tape and paper to make up a tag that you attach to your output cord that says: "DANGER" "AVOID ELECTROCUTION" - Always pug into Jump box/generator Last. You can use the same set-up to hook a generator to the camper if you wanted to go that route.
