This video is a compilation of clips from my recent visit to the Stephen F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, Virginia - part of the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum! They have an observation tower from which you can watch airport activities at Washington-Dulles International Airport (IAD) - in this video the takeoffs/landings are being done toward the south, most departures on 19L with a couple also from 19C. The best days are when landings are done from the south as the aircraft landing on runway 1R fly right by the tower! The aircraft witnessed departing in the video are multiple United Airlines flights, including Airbus A319/320, Boeing 737, Embraer 175/190, and a United Boeing 777 departing on runway 30 toward the west. A good visibility day at the airport - just wish they switched runways! Anyway, enjoy the video! This video was shot in 4K UHD Resolution by the Sony FDR-AX33 camcorder in XAVC S mode, 100mbps @ 30fps
