How to Make Dessert on a Weber Kettle - BBQ Gooey Layer Cake using a Cast Iron

In this video I show you how to make a dessert on a Weber Kettle. We use a Cast Iron Skillet to make a BBQ Gooey Layer Cake. This is made for guys like me that don't have all the fancy mixers and also understand all the different wet and dry ingredients that go into baking. This is a VERY easy to make dessert that you can use whatever toppings you think will delight your family & friends. For crust: Small Stick and 1 Tbs of Melted Butter 2 packages or 18 graham crackers blended Add blended graham Crackers to melted Butter then form into a greased Cast iron pan - Be mindful of making even and pressing into corners as you are making the crust. Toppings - Use whatever you like 4 oz of chocolate chips 4 oz of Butterscotch Morsels 3 oz of coconut 4 oz sweetened condensed milk Add toppings then cook at 350 for about 20 minutes or until the sides brown lightly. I recommend using a slow and sear and I show you how to use it in the Weber in the video. If you do not have a slow and sear for your weber you can still make this just set the coals over to the side and you can still make it just the same way I did in the video. You will want to adjust the vents on the Weber kettle to about half way open on the top to hold that 350 degree temp and also by allowing only about 75% of the chimney to be lit before dumping into the Weber Kettle and setting it up for indirect 2 zone cooking. Once the BBQ Gooey Layer Cake is done remove and let cool. The pieces will hold together when you cut it if the cake has cooled.
