Here’s the much-requested 1987 GMC V3500, a true square body one-ton with a fuel-injected 454 big block. That’s right — the last year of this body style, with that V-series badge and all the right bones for a clean, classic truck. 🔧 Quick Build Overview: Factory 454 TBI fuel-injected V8 4” lift kit 35” old-school mud terrains (metric 315s) 16x10 Mickey Thompson wheels Wheel spacers in rear for proper stance Greasable bushings, replacement shackles, new shocks Fifth wheel & gooseneck rails Factory dual tanks – both working Cold weather plug (likely a Washington State truck) Original exhaust & manifolds — ready for headers if you want more Factory spare still under the bed, nubs and all Solid frame, solid rockers, very little surface rust Original hubs, working AC, all gauges functional Factory headliner, working lights, old-school trucker visor This truck has a story — originally sold locally, bought back by us a year ago, and lightly refreshed with a suspension and tire setup that reflects what a lot of guys were doing back in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s. We kept it true to that look, and the result is a clean, tough-looking square body that feels right at home in any era. 🧰 What Could Be Next?
