──────────────────────────── ABOUT THIS NASHEED “Rising from the Shadows” tells the story of a man on the edge of despair who discovers hope through patience, gratitude, and sincere effort. Inspired by timeless Islamic values and noble traits exemplified by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and Imam ʿAli (رضي الله عنه), it reflects inner struggle, moral discipline, and humble success. The composition balances prayer and action, strength and mercy, effort and reliance upon God. It highlights perseverance, justice, and gratitude as the foundations of true success. Presented in a voice-centered, cinematic style with soft frame drum, gentle oud, light qanun/santur, and subtle flute/ney, this nasheed is reflective, uplifting, and spiritually grounded. ──────────────────────────── ENGLISH LYRICS Verse 1 He stood at the edge of exhaustion, The night heavier than his chest. His steps were weary, His silence nearly broke him. He said, “The paths have tightened, The faces I knew are gone.” I thought this fall was written for me, With no return ahead. Verse 2 Then he paused and breathed, And looked deep into his heart. He found patience still alive, Not dead — only wounded. He remembered mercy in character, Meeting harm with forbearance. He remembered justice in courage, Raising truth as a banner. Chorus He rose again, not out of pride, But gratitude for what remained. His strength came from patience, His light from pure certainty. He rose again, without noise, Like the wind that moves with steadiness. Like a sword — truthful and just, Striking nothing but darkness. Verse 3 He praised God for the ground That carried his steps, For bread and hardship, For patience within trial. He said, “My Lord did not abandon me, My effort was never wasted. Every delay carried wisdom, Every pain was a supplication.” Verse 4 He began again, Step by step. Not rushing the harvest, Never forgetting intention. If he fell, he rose grateful. If he succeeded, he bowed humbly. All merit belongs to God first, And last, in all he wished. Ending When success finally came, It found a faithful heart. He did not rise above the people, He lifted others through gentleness. This is the path of one who learned That life is a test, And the greatest victory Is to remain human. ──────────────────────────── INSTRUMENTATION (AI / Production Notes) Voice-centered, cinematic, inspirational.
