DOLPHINS RELEASE TYREEK HILL & BRADLEY CHUBB + BILLS RE-SIGN ANDERSON & MATHIS

Out with the old and with the new, the newly hired head coach Jeff Hafley and general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan waste no time and release two star players from the Miami Dolphins roster, WR Tyreek Hill & EDGE Bradley Chubb. While it makes sense from the perspective of the Dolphins organization, these are still two hot commodities entering free agency, especially Chubb, someone that could fit very nicely with the Buffalo Bills. Next, the Buffalo Bills re-sign OL Alec Anderson & DT Phidarian Mathis. Anderson has spent three years with the Bills and has become a very versatile and useful piece as a backup. Signing him to a brand new deal could mean the start of something new for the young offensive lineman. With Mathis, someone who was touted very highly, a second round pick out of Alabama, never really amounted to anything for the Washington Commanders. However, after signing with the Bills this past season, he showcased his ability to be a serviceable starter when asked to be. A good depth piece retained by Buffalo. Lastly, two major career resurgences in 2025, Javonte Williams and Kyle Pitts, both signing new deals with their respective teams.
