A 4-8-4 “Niagara”/“Northern” type steam locomotive is left to rust by its lonesome at the edge of the trackage on the former Reading New Hope Branch. This locomotive was built in Schenectady, New York sometime 1946 for the Nacionales de Mexico (the Mexican National Railroad). The N de M’s 4-8-4’s were called Niagaras despite most other railroads calling theirs Northerns. This video was filmed 6/23/23 in New Hope, PA
