Wow! I got a chance to test the new 2019 Starboard 9'0 Longboard in the premium Blue Carbon. With amazing swell rolling into Jax Beach from Hurricane Florence, this was the perfect opportunity to test this board! The 9'0 x 28" at 101L is the best of all around paddling performance. It has the right balance of early wave catching and turning abilities. The bottom has a full double concave to a distinct "V"at the tail this board. This gives the board effortless turning and rail performance while have a direct, locked in feel when nose riding. The new longboard range in both the 9'0 and the 10'0" x 29" have a thinner profile at 3.3" thick, giving this board excellent rail hold and turning. These boards feel incredibly sure under foot even though they are thinner and lower volume. You will want to try one of these out and add it to your quiver immediately!
