Some E400 Hybrid MMC mania out of Cricklewood to bring you guys!! Trust me this one right here is seriousss, no nonsense at all on this 16 duty! Today, join me on Cricklewood MMC, TEH2072. With all guns blazing, this driver was SENDINGGG it everywhere he could. Tbf to him, the route is allocated LTs so when you get a conventional on the route, there’s only one way to go about it and that’s to make the most out of it and on this second half, this driver definitely had his fun! Being a Central route and running along Edgware Road, I didn’t think I would get as good of a run as I did. Turns out once again, these drivers keep proving me wrong. The abundance of bus lanes on this route also helped the cause a little bit. These buses pull off fast so along Edgware Road I’ve included snippets of the pullaway and gaining rapid speed in a matter of seconds. The Bishop’s Bridge Road section of the route in Paddington is good to get some thrash on too! But let’s not neglect the main event and that is the Cricklewood to Brent Park section. Hillclimbs, Downhills, Backroads, Dual Carriageways, Straights. You name it! Once we pass Cricklewood, serious workk is done as it’s pretty much planting after planting, maxout after maxout especially with the A406 involved! The 16 was recently won with new electrics (TBC) soon marking the end of LTs on this route but hopefully that won’t stop the occasional VWH/TEH appearing on the route because if so we’ll never see a magical run like this one again! The route runs between Brent Park Superstores and Paddington via Neasden, Cricklewood, Kilburn, Maida Vale & Edgware Road. Hope you guys enjoy this one as much as i enjoyed the experience!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The video can be timestamped below as follows ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 0:00 - Flyby 0:18 - Paced along Crest Road/Tanfield Avenue 1:43 - Full throttle acceleration on A406, reaching high speed & through Brent Park 3:46 - Planted along A406 up to 45mph (top speed) 4:52 - {Whoosh} Full throttle along Neasden Underpass, up to 45mph 5:49 - Flooring through the Neasden backroads 6:46 - {Hillclimb w/ Whoosh} Climbing up Coles Green Rd w/ ease 7:08 - Floored downhill up to quick speed w/ attempt to regen 7:47 - Snippets of thrashing + quick acceleration along Edgware Road 11:36 - Planted along Bishop’s Bridge Road in Paddington 12:23 - Gassing it along Edgware Road up to high speed 13:04 - Sending it along Cricklewood Broadway & Edgware Road 14:39 - Foot down climbing uphill with speed 15:19 - Caning along the Neasden backroads 16:33 - {Whoosh} Tilting around Neasden roundabout😭 17:01 - Nice acceleration, then planted 0-45 along A406 w/ nice whoosh 18:01 - {Whoosh} Planted through the Brent Park area, reaching high speed 19:11 - {Whooshh} More planting up to top speed on A406 20:17 - {Echoey Whoosh} Nothing less on the Neasden Underpass!
