Prior to his tenure at the University, he established himself as a pioneering American computer scientist, co-founding the technology companies MIPS and Atheros. After ending more than fifteen years at the helm of one of the world’s foremost research institutions last year, Hennessey continues to sit on the boards of Google and Cisco.
