My room and Afternoon Tea at the Raffles Hotel in Dubai

So here’s my story; some of my friends family members and subscribers know by now that I am an empty Nester and I’ve been exploring and traveling extensively for the past several months but that was not the case when I first started posting on YouTube a year ago in 2019, at the beginning of the Covid19 pandemic. When my adult teenage children came home from the university for March break and ended up staying at home for a year, there was a lot of cooking and baking , cleaning and organizing the house. My creative and artistic outlets of painting, glass working, writing, working out, meditating and relaxing, took a hit ; I wanted to do something that I enjoyed along with my everyday chores, without disrupting my family’s life and thus started by posting a cooking video. But life, as you know happens; it’s not easy for a married stay-at-home-mom with an ambitious husband and grown up kids, life’s never been easy or constant for me. But that has never stopped me from doing whatever I’ve loved to do. I’ve always had to stop what I’ve been doing , pick up, pack up, leave behind and move, relocate and move and repeat. Although at times, I’ve found it frustrating, I have enjoyed going with the flow and I’ve always tried to find a way to incorporate my creativity into my everyday life. In the past few months I am like an uncaged bird( still tethered)spreading her wings and flying high and far as possible; in the past seven months I’ve traveled extensively across three continents several countries and numerous cities. I have a few friends and family who root for me and are encouraging and curious about my travels and my journey through life itself. I make my videos for them and for others who want to join me or peek into my life.
