Originally from Rome, he has become a central figure in the underground electronic music scene, particularly through his work with his own label, Gravitational Waves, which he founded in 2014. As an artist, Nephil is known for his raw, hardware-driven sound, combining elements of electro, acid, industrial, and experimental electronic music. His productions often emphasize analog drum machines (such as classic 808/909 patterns), abrasive synth lines, and a gritty, uncompromising energy. Beyond his own productions, Nephil’s role as label head has been vital in shaping and sustaining Gravitational Waves’ identity.
