🚗 Road Trip from Bilaspur to Mainpat | Camping, Boat Ride & BBQ Night 😍 Day 1 | Hidden Gems of Chhattisgarh Today we hit the road from Bilaspur to Mainpat — a scenic drive of about ~259 km by road that took us around 4.5–5 hrs 🚘. 🛣️ First stop: Golden Island (Korba) On the way we stopped at Golden Island, a beautiful water-surrounded picnic and nature spot near the Hasdeo-Bango reservoir. We **explored around, soaked in the views, and enjoyed a relaxing boat ride on its calm waters — perfect for photos and short breaks! 🌅 🚣‍♂️ 🌄 Arrival at Mainpat After that it was straight to Mainpat — known as the “Shimla of Chhattisgarh” for its cool weather and hill-station vibes.
