This video takes you on a step-by-step guide on how to get to the Great Wall Mutianyu by public bus. In summary: 1. Get Dongzhimen station (Take line 2 or line 13) 2. Follow the signs to Exit C. 3. Once you exit to street level through Exit C, go to the Bus Transfer Hall (building on your left side). 4. Follow the signs to 916 Express (two chinese characters) and take the 916 Express bus. 5. Take the 15th stop at Huai Rou Bei Da Jjie. Note: There might be someone that boards the bus directing you to get off the bus for the Great Wall before you reach Huai Rou Bei Da Jjie. IGNORE THESE PEOPLE as the will try to get you into a black taxi. 6. When you get off at the 15th stop, cross the road and wait at the bus stop for bus H23. Note: Black taxis will be waiting and telling you that the bus is no longer running to the Great Wall. Be patient, the bus will come. 7. Take bus H23 and exit at the 17th stop by the Mutianyu roundabout, just under the big aqueduct (as seen in the video). 8. Walk towards the roundabout and take the first street on the right which will take you towards the entrance of the Great Wall ticketing area.
