112-1巴里島甘美朗大師班成果發表 Balinese Gamelan Angklung Concert presented by TNUA Gamelan Ensemble 2023/09/26(二) 於水舞台(at TNUA Lotus Pond Stage) 廖憲一《藝遊》為巴里島安克隆甘美朗 Hin-Iat LIU “TNUA” for Baliese Gamelan Angklung 樂曲解說/ Program Note 有沒有聽過用甘美朗演奏的校歌？ 這首取用「北藝大校歌旋律」，以巴里島甘美朗音樂的多層次交織循環變化語法與形式運用呈現，校歌旋律隨著一直循環反覆，從中會發現裡面的層次越來越細緻與複雜，各層有兩組或四組樂器之間的交織、也有跨聲部間的交織…使音樂非常豐富，且由於巴里島安克隆甘美朗樂器就只有「四顆音」，來看看如何僅用四顆音，就可以將校歌旋律移植轉化至甘美朗音樂當中，來個很不一樣的感覺！ 這首歌相信唸過北藝的朋友一定非常有共鳴！ 本作品取材自國立臺北藝術大學(前身國立藝術學院)校歌，作曲者為故馬水龍教授，他是創校的教授之一，音樂學系教授，並曾任音樂學系主任、本校教務長與校長。 Have you ever heard the school song played on gamelan ensemble? This piece is based on the melody of the school song of Taipei National University of Arts and is presented in the multi-layered, intertwined, cyclic, and changing grammar and form of Balinese gamelan music. As the melody of the school song is repeated over and over in this piece, you will notice that the layers become more detailed and complex. Each layer involves the interweaving between two or four groups of instruments, creating a richly colorful musical experience. The Balinese Gamelan Angklung instruments, with only 'four notes,' showcase how the transplantation of the school song melody into four-note gamelan angklung music can evoke a distinctly different feeling. Let's enjoy this unique musical transformation! I believe this song will resonate with friends in TNUA! This piece borrows the melody of the school song of TNUA (formerly National Institute of the Arts) which was composed by the late Professor Ma Shui-Long. He was one of the founding members of the University, and Professor and the Chair of the Music Department, Dean of Academic Affairs and the President of the University. 作曲者/Composer: 廖憲一 Hin-Iat LIU 臺灣作曲家、編曲家與管風琴演奏家。國立臺北藝術大學、國立臺灣師範大學音樂系作曲雙碩士。目前於「福爾摩沙管風琴演奏家」與「新竹直笛合奏園」擔任駐園作曲家與編曲家，也於「天主教臺北聖家堂」擔任彌撒管風琴師與音樂總監。 更多資訊，請至 https://hi001001 wixsite.com/website。 Hin-lat Liu (b.1995) is a Taiwanese composer, arranger, and organist. He got his double masters from National Taiwan Normal University and from Taipei National University of the Arts. Currently, he is a music instructor and Church pipe organist of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Taipei, a pipe organist, composer, and arranger-in-residence of "Formosa Virtuoso Organist" and "Hsin-Chu Recorder Orchestra". For more information https://hi001001.wixsite.com/website. 國立臺北藝術大學甘美朗樂團 始於1985年，由當時音樂系主任馬水龍教授特請旅美韓國鐄教授來校客座，開設甘美朗音樂課程。樂團由每年選修本課程的學生組成，本次參與演出者：高湘荃、江昀婷、張欣雅、蔡竣堯、吳欣芸、張旭誠、李羿青、萬庭妤、蘇純瑩、黃天愛、滿庭榮、謝裕蓁、陳又瑜、王晏庭、洪菀妤、廖紫芸、黃意棻，以及廖憲一(作曲家)和梁正一(任課教師)。 The TNUA Gamelan Ensemble Composed by students taking the selective course, the TNUA Gamelan Ensemble was first set up in 1985 by Shui-Lung Ma, then Chairperson of the Department of Music. He invited Prof. Kuo-Huang Han as guest professor of the course and bought in the very first set of Gamelan in Taiwan, a Balinese Gamelan Angklung. In 1993, under Han’s plan and instructions, the second set of gamelan, Javanese Gamelan, was bought to enrich the contents of the course. Currently the gamelan instructors are Ching-huei Lee and Jeng-I Liang.
