Noted Islamic scholar and mystic Dr. Muhammad Sameer Siddiqui is fond of quality breed horses and to sustain his passion for riding often travels to Khanqah e Hydari and other adjacent areas on horseback. Khanqah-e-Hydari, which he has founded on vast tracts of his ancestral land, is nestled in the tranquil Pirpanjal mountain ranges of Aishmuqam. Dr. Siddiqui inspired by Sufi saint Shah Hamadan Mir Syed Ali Al Husaini has revived the centuries old tradition of the Khanqah. His mission, he says is to reconnect youth with their spiritual and cultural roots. Despite being highly qualified with a doctorate in Islamic Studies, he himself is engaged in agrarian and pastoral pursuits and encourages his friends and disciples to be economically self sufficient. At the Khanqah apart from maintaining a daily community kitchen(Langar), he delivers regular spiritual teachings and organises vocational classes.He organises annual plantation and regular cleanliness drives under the auspices of Khanqah.
