The SCG System should be installed after the pool’s filtration system and prior to the water return port of the pool. If the pool is full of water, plug or block the water inlet and water outlet ports on the pool to ensure that water flow is stopped before installing the SCG System. INSTALLATION: Step 1: Disconnect the water return hose from the water outlet port of the filtration system. Step 2: Install gasket and connect the provided SCG System Hose to the water inlet port of the saltwater system and the water outlet port of the filtration system. Step 3: Install gasket and connect the water return hose to the water outlet port of the SCG system. If the pool is empty, fill it with water. If the pool is not empty, remove the plugs or blockage from water inlet and water outlet ports so that water can flow through the filtration and SCG systems. HOW IT WORKS 1: Water from the pool containing salt (Sodium Chloride) enters the cell 2: Electric charge is applied to electrolytic plates and turns chloride ions into gas 3: Chlorine gas dissolves into the water 4: Water with pure chlorine is returned into the pool
