Govt Releases ₹226 Crore for Polavaram Displaced | Minister Nimmala Slams Jagan

Andhra Pradesh Minister Nimmala Rama Naidu criticized Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleging that no compensation was given to Polavaram displaced families during the previous government. He stated that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has now released ₹226 crore for Polavaram oustees. So far, the government has provided ₹1,940 crore in three phases. The compensation for house construction has been increased from ₹2.85 lakh to ₹3.57 lakh per family.
