Classic TV Theme: Powers of Matthew Star (two versions)
Earning the #22 spot on a TV Guide list of 'worst shows of all time' this 1982 series was about an extraterrestrial 'prince' in hiding on Earth and dodging assassins. Louis Gossett Jr was his guardian. It didn't get off to a strong start and halfway through they did a semi-reboot and had Matthew going to work for a government agency fighting crime. That fared no better and the show ended after one season. The first theme is by Michel Rubini and Denny Jaeger. A new theme accompanied the rebooted episodes, composed by Johnny Harris. Both are included here. Video quality sketchy at times but the themes come thru just fine.
