Adventure Park USA is located out in the wild of Maryland, about 45 or 50 minutes outside of the Baltimore metro area. It's one of the state's more intriguing amusement parks; it's not a boardwalk pier like what you'll find down in Ocean City, nor is it a sprawling, massive theme park like Six Flags America in Bowie. Instead, what you've got here is something halfway between a family entertainment center and a carnival, with a huge selection of games and other attractions indoors that are open year-round, with a collection of a few modest rides (and a couple surprising roller coasters!) outdoors that are open during the summer season. The arcade itself, like many other FECs, is primarily focused on redemption games with a large number of games that boil down to "hit object, receive tickets". However, there's also a mix of a few other traditional arcade games here, including Time Crisis 4, Nirin, Deadstorm Pirates, and more. The inside section also has a couple of attractions that operate year-round such as spinning bumper cars, mini bowling, a frog hopper kiddie ride, and a ropes course. Outside is where you'll find some of the major rides, including carnival classics like the Tilt-A-Whirl, Scrambler, and Fun Slide. You'll also come across a mini golf course, go-kart track, and a couple of coasters that have been relocated from other parks. The Wildcat originally began its life down in Virginia at Busch Gardens as "Die Wildkatze", and has also operated at Rye Playland and Atlantic City's Steel Pier throughout its life cycle. Their other major coaster, the Wild West Express, was previously located in Kissimmee, Florida at Old Town as the "Windstorm", and this thing can quite literally knock the wind out of you if you're not expecting it!
