-This webinar was a part of CUGH's 2025 Virtual Global Health Week. Summary: This session interrogates corruption as a critical global health challenge and a major barrier to achieving global health goals and improving health outcomes. It will explore why traditional approaches to tackling corruption fall short, examine emerging new approaches, and opportunities to influence policy agendas and change practice. We will introduce the recently launched Lancet Global Health Commission on Anti-Corruption in Health, which draws on interdisciplinary research and advances in knowledge to identify politically and institutionally feasible approaches to anti-corruption. The Commission aims to create a dynamic platform for advocacy, sharing ideas and promoting radical policy and practice change. The participants will have an opportunity to engage and share their view on what the Commission should prioritize, drawing on their context and experience.
