Tuesday, March 27, 2018 - The NJCHS presents "Women in the Law: Going First and Going Forward" Join distinguish panelists Hon. Marsha Berzon, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, Hon. Marilyn Hall Patel, Senior District Judge, N.D. California (ret.), Melinda Hagg, Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe (former U.S. Attorney for the N.D. of California) and Dorian Daley, General Counsel for Oracle, along with moderator Stanford Law School Professor Emerita Barbara Babcock, as they discuss discrimination and gender bias, and what it was like to be the first woman in a particular role in the law. Our panelists also provide us their insights into how things have (or have not) changed for women in the legal profession.
