It is not often when I like a cover version better than the original, but thought the Disturbed cover in 2016 had a fantastic control of dynamics and I loved the changes they made to some of the vocal phrasing. In my solo bass version, I'm using different bass techniques to mimic the buildup of intensity and phrasing of the Disturbed version. Hope you enjoy it! For this solo bass cover I’m playing the WHOLE song on bass – the bass part, vocal line, and keyboard riffs/chords are all played on bass simultaneously. No overdubs, looping, or backing tracks.
