Is it a cookie? Is it a candy bar? well, you can decide, but this confection is a very versatile treat! It can be made with a variety of nuts and candied fruits and I like the added bonus of dipping them in super dark chocolate to balance out the sweetness with a little something bitter! These treats are usually enjoyed around Christmas time but I think they are great all-year-round as a transportable and quick snack. For my recipe, I used only almonds and candied orange bits but you can use any combination you like. As always, take my recipes as a canvas and make it your own by adding your preference.
