I Handsew a Regency Reticule | The Bridgerton Project
I make a Regency/Jane Austen era reticule to match the dress I made that was inspired by the 2020 Netflix show Bridgerton, specifically the Featherington family. I layer a beaded lace fabric over a poly silk using garish bright colors to create this reticule, a historical purse. I create the pattern from scratch and show how I hand sew all the parts together. Hand sewing is not necessary, but I just really enjoy it. This is part 4 of my Bridgerton project, I'll have a final reveal of the entire outfit hopefully soon. Bonus: Diana the Corgi and Bean the Chihuahua dogs
