The greater glider is one of over 500 native Australian species that is under threat of extinction. The Environmental Protection and Biodiversity Conservation (EPBC) Act is meant to protect the homes of the most threatened species. In the 20 years since the laws were passed, more than 7.7 million hectares of threatened species habitat has been destroyed, including greater glider habitat. The EPBC Act is failing to protect Australia's unique wildlife and their homes.
