Just one third of countries have achieved all the measurable Education for All (EFA) goals set in 2000. Only half of countries have reached the most closely watched goal of universal primary school enrolment. The 2015 EFA Global Monitoring Report (GMR) — produced by UNESCO — reveals that an additional $22 billion per year is still needed, on top of ambitious government commitments, to ensure the world meets the new education targets now set for 2030. 📖 About the Report For 15 years, UNESCO has tracked progress towards education for all through the GMR. The 2015 edition, “Education for All 2000–2015: Achievements and Challenges”, offers the most comprehensive assessment of where the world stands on education — and where we must go next. 🎬 About this Film This animation was produced by Room3, specialists in film and animation for not-for-profit organisations.
