------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- THIS IS A SELECTED REUPLOAD AS THE OLD MOVIE FROM "JUNE 12, 2007" GOT VERY BAD QUALITY BACK THEN. (and being one of the older movies, it might not be properly cropped and stuff :P) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.recordedamigagames.org Game release year: 1994 Played by: Ironclaw This game is said to be like.... the king of unbeatable games. I tried it a couple of times before, even with TONS of savestates and it was nearly impossible. I have only managed to beat it with a trainer. Well, now I wanted to see if I could beat it without a trainer or tons of savestates, and I did :). The first couple of characters I fought were no problem. Then came Matiki (the king dude) and he is the one I had trouble with years ago. He has like 8 times more health than me (playing the girl) and probably hits harder too. I had to come up with some sort of way to beat him. I started out doing some high kicks and that seemed to work, but the trick is to kick him as he jumps towards you, which is what he does alot. But not knowing from the start that I needed to kick him while he jumps, I lost alot of health. Then came Kosken (the sumo), he was tough as hell and the "kick when he is jumping" didn't work on him, as he didn't jump alot and my kicks were blocked almost evertyime and counter-attacked by a punch. So... now I had to find a trick on this opponent aswell. I had to somehow MAKE him jump, so I tricked him by semi start my special kick combo (all characters have that), I only did like two or three of them to make him jump (because they at this difficulty are programmed to always avoid them by jumping, I noticed), then gave him a high kick as he came down. Now it became easy! My next opponent were Seven (the sword dude). Now the "high kick when he jump" or "trick him to jump with the kick combo" didn't work on him as he doesn't constantly jump (like the king) and when I try to execute my kick combo, he just hits me with his sword... so... a new way to beat this guy had to be found... I found out that straight high punches did the trick, LOL!.. he didn't even block ONE of them!, also effective were the jump and hit down, but that one doesn't hit that often as he blocks most of them. I wanted to spam the high punch, but as it's done with up-right+fire, I kept jumping up-right instead if not pressed exactly at the same time, annoying. The final opponent is Taiki, none of the above tricks worked on him, so I had to give him all I had. A lot of blocking is necessary on him though, and I found out at the end that when he attacks, you block and then quickly kick him as his attack animation has ended (you have to be fast)... that worked quite well... Wish I knew this from the start. A couple of stages and one character never made it into this movie :(. I thought of recording a bit from those missing stages with the missing character and putting it at the end of the movie, but.. ehmm.. didn't.. but now wish I had as one of those stages (the boat stage) is awesome looking. I don't quite know why I didn't meet the opponents at their own stages, like the sword dude, I fought him at sumo's stage :(. I must say that the graphics in this game is AMAZING!. This is not even an AGA game and still it looks better than most AGA games. Also it runs so smooooth, it's a 50fps game! (but can't be seen here on YouTube because of the frame rate limit). Also has great music. This game uses "overscan" thingy on the map part and therefore it doesn't fit in the screen, but I didn't care about that. I just wanted the part where you fight to be in the screen. If I had made the movie screensize bigger so the map would have fitted, the fighting screen part would have gotten large, ugly black borders around it. However, I could have resized the map parts and make them fit.. but that would have required some extra editing, which I'm not that keen on :). Final words: Now when I know the tricks on most opponents, I could easily restart the game and beat it with ease. But I could also have played as the king dude and gotten through the game ALOT easier, but that's not cool :). Playing through the game as the weak chick is coolness imo :P. - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
