Greco SG 360 Matsumoko Demo

This is one cool Greco SG from the mid 70s made by the highly respected Matsumoko factory in Japan. The vintage Maxon pickups give this guitar some serious Boogie mojo. It has the classic retro inlays and binding on headstock and scratch plate. There some wear on the tailpiece and a tiny bit in headstock but all in all in great condition for a 70’s instrument. Super light as well into the bargain. The Greco SG-360 appeared in 1974 and succeeded the SG-300. Before 1976, it was equipped with Maxon “Jazz Rock” humbuckers also known as U-500. From 1976, Maxon U-1000 will replace them. While the SG-300 has a neck with 21 frets, the SG-360 has a neck with 22 frets.
