The camp already hosts 12.4 million oz (between IAMGOLD and Northern Superior) and is poised for rapid growth with ongoing exploration activities being advanced by IAMGOLD and Northern Superior. The Chibougamau Gold Camp is one of the largest gold camps globally not controlled by a major producer. The Company’s Philibert Project is located just 9 km from IAMGOLD’s Nelligan Project and offers the potential to shorten the payback period of a unified operation, thanks to its superior grade and favourable metallurgy. In a recent financing led by Cormark, the Company raised CAD$8 million, including CAD$1 million from insiders (Michael Gentile, Victor Cantore and Simon Marcotte).
