WestJet Business Class: Is It Worth the Upgrade? ✈️💺 I never knew WestJet's business class could be THIS luxurious! 🥹 I flew from Vancouver to Calgary (economy) and then Calgary to London (business class) on the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and it was beyond my expectations! A few weeks before my flight, I got an email from WestJet inviting me to bid for an upgrade. My original one-way ticket was just $241 USD ($330 CAD), and I placed a minimum bid of $972 USD ($1300 CAD). A week before departure, WestJet notified me that I wasn’t the highest bidder, but if I increased my bid to $1096 USD ($1500 CAD), I would be the highest bidder and likely secure the upgrade. 💸 In the end, I got it! My total cost from Vancouver to London was $1337 USD ($1830 CAD)—a crazy deal for business class, considering regular prices are usually $3,000+ one way! WestJet Business Class Review – My Honest Thoughts: ✅ Seats: Incredibly spacious, fully lie-flat, and super comfy! My 6ft tall husband could stretch out with no problem. ✅ Service: Top-notch cabin crew with excellent hospitality. ✅ Food: Limited options (no Asian meals, unfortunately), but surprisingly well-executed. The short rib was delicious, and the chicken breast was perfectly juicy! ✅ Lounge Access: The WestJet Elevation Lounge in Calgary (included with biz class) was one of the best lounges I’ve visited recently!
