Welcome to Lord of the Ringtones! This parody movie was filmed by my Video Editing Club during high school, between 2007 to 2009, and edited by not just myself but by everyone in the club and our teacher. It was collectively written by all of us, as we each contributed ideas, and we made the props and costumes ourselves. Filming took place either at our school or during field trips we all participated in, and sometimes even after school and during holiday breaks when everyone was free. We were originally going to show this film at our graduation, but we didn't get it done in time, so our teacher made us DVDs and gifted it to us afterwards. And I found the DVD again! We're all in our 30s now and I thought I had lost this movie in my multiple moves, but here it is! So just for my own peace of mind in not losing it again, I'm putting it here, since I did heavily contribute - I was an actor / extra, costume designer, make-up artist, prop maker, editor / sound artist, and did camera work at times. If you could guess my role(s) in the movie you get bonus points, lol. But if I can get in contact with everyone again, I'll try to send them a link, as I don't know if their copies got lost like I thought mine had - if anything, it's a nice memory of high school. Also I apologize for a few of the parts being a bit grainy, it seems the video itself was low-quality even on the DVD when I play it in my player and I can't for the life of me remember how to fix it. I do hope you enjoy watching it though, as I've watched it all the way through again and I feel nostalgic. Also yes... some of our jokes are very dated now, we were teenagers, please be kind. Fun little tidbit though: We had REAL WEAPONS in some scenes, cause we were teenagers lol, and someone actually put a hole in the door of the theater with an arrow cause they forgot to take the sharp metal tip off and actually shot it during the scene. A bunch of us also collected real metal swords and thought it would be fun to use them as props, while running... the fact that no one got hurt while we filmed this is a miracle. This video is being posted under fair use, music and images are transformative and parody, and used for entertainment purposes only. I make no money from posting this.
