Welcome to our inaugural episode of Let's go Fishing. In this episode we travelled to the delightful middle reaches of the Warwickshire Avon near Bidford on a warm July day, on a low weedy river. The surroundings were beautiful, tall reeds, lots of trees and plentiful summer vegetation, with birdsong an abundance, holiday narrow boats kept the weed in check in the boat channel. I'll show you how to catch big chub on three different baits and ring the changes to keep them coming in the heat of the day. All our days fishing was on about six pounds worth of bait with minimal terminal tackle. Come and enjoy me on this perfect little summer adventure and pick up a few tips on inexpensive summer fishing in lovely surrounds.
