Nominated by Watershed, hear from the recent 2025 Emerging Innovator awardee Emmanuella Morsi as she demystifies her way of working – from sharing impact stories of recent work to work-in-progress insights for upcoming Studio Morsi projects. Curious about what embedding more accessible, equity-led and nature-inspired factors into your work could look like? Emmanuella is a big believer that the role of the artist is to make the revolution irresistible, and expect to come away with tangible ways to reimagine your practice. Morsi is an award-winning multi-disciplinary creative, production manager and researcher. Nigerian-born and Bristol-raised, their former roles include Non-Exec Director of Rising Arts Agency, Production & Partnerships Manager of ethical brand communication agency and sustainability consultancy, Enviral, and Bristol City Council’s Culture Board member. They predominantly use research and various mediums to amplify impact and innovate inclusive storytelling around climate, with grassroots and large-scale creative activations across Europe, Africa, Asia, Middle East, North and Latin America. The Pervasive Media Studio is a partnership between the Watershed, University of the West of England and University of Bristol. The lunchtime talks are partly supported by MyWorld, a project led by the University of Bristol to support creative industries in the region. Watershed is supported by Arts Council England.
