At some point… we collect a LOT of pens. Some we buy. Some we’re gifted. Some we swore would change our planning life. So I’m starting a new series where I test them one by one in my Hobonichi Weeks and decide what’s actually worth keeping — and what isn’t. Today I’m reviewing the Faber-Castell Essential Planner Pack. In this video, I test: • The Faber-Castell colored pencils • The included stencil • The Pitt Artist Pen (black, waterproof, permanent) All products are tested on Hobonichi Weeks Tomoe River paper — which is thin, lightweight, and known for showing ghosting easily. It’s a great test for how planner supplies truly perform. I share: • How the pencils handled fine detail • Whether the stencil is durable • How the Pitt Artist Pen performed on thin paper • Ghosting, bleed-through, and smearing results • Whether I think this set is worth its regular retail price If you love honest planner supply reviews — especially for Hobonichi — you’re in the right place. More pen tests coming soon as we weed down the collection. Subscribe if you enjoy realistic, practical planner testing. Want a chance to win a give-away of products I have tested?
