What if you could replace the concrete jungle with a real one? Right in the heart of Perth, Nicole and Drew have transformed their 134m² loft apartment into a breathtaking three-storey indoor jungle. With more than 500 plants layered from floor to ceiling, automated irrigation systems, misting lines, living moss walls, aquariums, water features, and even a cactus loft with a sauna, this is urban living reimagined in the most spectacular way. From the moment you step through the door, the city disappears. What was once a plain green box apartment is now a thriving urban rainforest designed around biophilic principles, natural materials, airflow engineering, and intelligent plant systems. This home proves that you don’t need acres of land to live surrounded by nature. You can build your own sanctuary in the middle of the city. What makes this apartment even more remarkable is the level of thought behind it. The courtyard runs on a multi-zone Bluetooth irrigation system. The towering moss poles are fed through hidden watering lines. A natural ventilation system moves up to 5,000m³ of air per hour through the home. Grow lights supplement natural sunlight. And despite the scale of the jungle, maintenance is surprisingly minimal. This isn’t just a plant-filled apartment. It’s a fully immersive indoor ecosystem. Over the past year, Nicole and Drew have poured creativity, curiosity, and serious dedication into shaping this space. The result is a maximalist, nature-infused home that challenges what we think apartment living can be. It’s cozy, dramatic, calming, and wildly inspiring all at once. If you love biophilic design, indoor gardens, sustainable homes, loft apartments, urban homesteading, or simply seeing what’s truly possible when imagination meets determination, this is one episode you won’t want to miss.
