While his tenure lasted two seasons, he doesn't believe the controversy surrounding Jussie Smollett was the cause of the show's cancellation. Darkchild highlighted that the show's six-season run was a success compared to the average amount of seasons that shows last. Darkchild also spoke on producing for more recent artists such as H.E.R., A Boogie, and Summer Walker. The legendary producer also estimated that he's responsible for 1 billion records sold after stating that he was responsible for 200 million records sold in 2001 alone.
