Many nomads gather in the desert southwest each winter for the weather, company, and of course the Rubber Tramp Rendezvous. Ehrenberg is a popular camping spot for many snowbirds who are trying to avoid the crowds in Quartzsite. While it is not difficult to access free camping in Ehrenberg, it is also not always obvious where it is located. I put together this video as a driving tour that will take you from Exit 1 off Interstate 10 right into the area where many people camp along Ehrenberg-Cibola Road. Thanks for watching! At the roundabout, continue 3/4 of the way around (second exit) and then head east on East Frontage Road. About 1.5 miles from the roundabout the road splits. Continue to the right at the fork. There is a large area with a network of BLM roads where dispersed camping is allowed.
