McDonald's cleaning lady who has had horrible luck sobs after opening gift from a Secret Santa

#christmas #eastidahonews #secretsanta #mcdonalds A local Secret Santa is giving $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season and the East Idaho News elves are helping out. Every day, from now until the end of the year, we’ll be posting a Secret Santa surprise and today we’re visiting a lady named Hope who cleans McDonald's restaurants across eastern Idaho. Hope has worked for the fast food chain for almost 13 years and lives a humble life. She raised three children as a single mother and now helps raise and co-parent her daughter’s four children. Her daughter is a single mother and works long hours, so Hope works her early morning shifts at McDonald’s and then picks the children up from school and takes them to their after-school activities. With what little free time and money she has, Hope buys supplies and makes Native American star quilts. She rarely sells any for profit and usually makes them for her loved ones as gifts. The past couple of years, Hope has had bad luck with her vehicles. She had saved up for years to be able to afford a newer vehicle for herself and her grandchildren. She only had her van for a short time when another driver rear-ended her and the van was considered totaled. Hope then had to begin the grueling process of trying to find another vehicle with the small payout the insurance company gave her. She owned the second van for seven months and was at work for her early morning McDonald’s shift when an unidentified driver sideswiped the minivan and took off. The insurance company towed the van away and for the past month, Hope and her daughter have been sharing her daughter’s car. Hope has walked to her daughter's work to pick up her daughter's car to go pick up her grandkids from school. She refuses to inconvenience others and just wants what's best for her family. Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to pay Hope a visit and surprise her with an early Christmas gift.
