Hughes explained that he, his brother, and friend Ryan Williams arrived on set to find Tupac and others drinking and smoking. Tupac approached them and allegedly initiated a confrontation, leading to a fight. Hughes left the scene to find security. In doing so, he drew the anger of the group toward himself, leading to a major fracas. The situation escalated to the point where the police arrived and detained Hughes. Notably, he shared that his brother stayed and defended himself.
