Introduding Midnite D: Midnite D is an Aku variant of Rain D with 300,000 HP, 80,000 Shield HP, 20 KBs (Shield Regen at 50%), 25 speed, 300 range, and 23,000 damage. Functionally, it’s exactly what it says on the tin. Midnite D functions incredibly similarly to Rain D, except the Shield makes it harder to KB and nearly impossible to Bahamut chain (though not impossible as shown by the absolute madman Kaxzer). However, ranged stacking is just as effective, as is Barrel who can easily snipe Shield Pierce and Supercar who just never cared about Shield in the first place. The stage starts by spawning a Nyandam, who you should immediately bait with a Manic Mohawk. Once the first Midnite D spawns, lure it in and get as many hits with Supercar as possible before Nyandam and reinforcement Midnite Ds catch up. Doge Dark is weak enough to get 1-shot by Can Can for some nice extra cash as the stage will starve you later. Stalling with 5 meatshields is ideal here as Midnite D tends to suddenly push in stacks. Eventually, more Midnite Ds will join in as well as Kurosawah, acting as another backliner. Cyberpunk, despite not bypassing Shield, is a very good attacker here as he is safe from all threats. Housewife and Barrel are great for assisting with damage, especially Barrel since he can tank a hit from Midnite D with each KB. The stage is very slow and you should aim for any opportunity to get a snipe with Supercar. Dealing 81k damage (assuming Lv. 50) speeds up the process a lot. There are a total of 6 Midnite Ds throughout the course of the battle. Once they’re taken care of, Cyberpunk, Can Can, and Supercar should be able to chip down the Nyandams.
