CopperEx Resources Dave Prins joined Steve Darling from Proactive to unveil the outcomes of the surface trenching program conducted on the Sorpresa Trend within the Franja del Oro gold target, situated within the Exploradora Norte Project in Northern Chile. Prins informed Proactive that CopperEx's trenching initiative successfully delineated gold and arsenic anomalism spanning an impressive 4.9 kilometers along the Sorpresa Trend. This trend is an integral component of the broader Franja del Oro gold target pursued by the company. Notably, the gold mineralization observed in the Sorpresa Trend is oxidized and readily visible at the surface, with no previous drilling conducted in the area. The results of the trenching effort have revealed the presence of multiple north-south trending parallel zones of gold mineralization within the Franja del Oro target, indicating significant potential at depth that has yet to be adequately explored. Consequently, CopperEx plans to initiate an upcoming drill campaign focused specifically on the Franja del Oro gold target, with a particular emphasis on testing the Sorpresa Trend. CopperEx has planned a drilling campaign following the closure of the RTO and the commencement of trading on February 14th, with support from the Discovery Group. This partnership has enabled funding for a 1,250-meter assay program focusing on the two previously mentioned targets.
