Sawyer Fredericks performed a spontaneous free-form version of his original song, Turning the Shoulder on Dec 15, 2017 at Iron Horse Music Hall in Northampton MA. During Sawyer’s Solo Set he began strumming and picking a few chords on his guitar, after he found a riff he was happy with he invited the audience to suggest a song to set to this newly born beat. Sawyer made an attempt with his original Lies You Tell, but stopped after a verse and solicited the audience again for suggestions. A fan called out, Turning the Shoulder, and this happened. Sawyer’s concert in Northampton was a stop on his 2017 North American Hide Your Ghost Tour.
