Video for Chris Watters - Sounds of Youth Music Competition 2012 Finalist. Christopher "Raindrop" Watters came into the world on October 2nd 1995 in Toronto, Ontario. I still take schooling at Pictou Academy in Pictou N.S. I started making music at age 12. I found it to be a way of expressing my feelings. My grandmother passed away when I was age 8. I was timid and not always happy. When I turned the age of 12 I picked up a pen and paper and started to write. So far today I have completed 7 songs and have been in two music groups with two friends of mine. I joined the Sound of Youth contest because I wanted to step up my game. I want to get known for what I do and I also want to have fun doing it. Things that I would like to get out of the contest would be experience singing in front of a live audience, being on video and just continuing to raise my attitude for continuing the love of making music. If I win this contest, I will be happy, not that I just won, but that I had fun doing it and it helped me get experience I always wanted.
