Thank you for your Interest in the Garnet Health Medical Center General Surgery Residency Program. Our five year program is ACGME accredited and offers exposure to all areas of general surgery. Over seventy-seven active surgeons embrace resident education and bring with them a variety of teaching styles and experiences. The goal of our program is to train exceptionally qualified surgeons who have the skills and ability to function at the highest level and provide state-of-the-art, compassionate patient care, in an academic, community or rural setting.
